International Picnic Day Observance

Well we observed International Picnic Day today. The girls and I made invitations with red and white checkered paper and Hannah drew ants on them, and they each got to give one to a friend. We didn't do the alphabet picnic, we just decided to invite everyone to bring a lunch and come play at the park with us in observance of International Picnic Day. It was a nice day for it, and everyone the girls invited showed up. So the kids got to play with friends, the moms enjoyed some conversation, I got sunburned, and we all planned on making this a once a week or every other week happening. Then me and my girls went for Icees, and played the rest of the day. Today was just a really good day.
