We had the combination of a tough pinata, and a not hard enough bat. The kids didn't even dent the pinata. So our friend Clark was brave enough to hold the pinata while Jason took a few whacks at it. When the pinata finally broke open most of the hard candy was shattered, and the little boxes of Nerds had been busted open. It flew everywhere, into the street, over the cars. Good thing I had an extra bag of candy. It was a lot of fun.
