The Redwoods
On the way home we decided to take part of the scenic route called "The Avenue of Giants". It was pretty cool. We had to stop for some pictures. I love these Redwood trees! They are so huge! At Muir Woods we learned that several Redwood trees can grow from the same root system. That is a tree falls over and dies, it's roots are still alive and new trees can start to grow on top of the dead tree.

So beautiful! Sounds like you guys had a fun trip! Even though it was short it looks like you were able to squeeze in some neat things.
