Wow, I can't believe I am another year older. My birthday was July 3rd. Jason had the day off of work and he and the girls got me a yummy chocolate cake... my favorite cake is store bought cake, and everyone else in my family likes homemade cake, but for 1 day a year on my birthday they all tolerate a piece. Jason and I ate at a little Mexican restaurant. Man it was a dive! It had orange Naugahyde booths, and menus just straight from someones home printer and laminated, do you get the picture? We ordered, and man the food was pretty good. Jason was right it's the dives that seem to have the best food. After that we went and watched National Treasure with the Elders Quorum. It was pretty fun. Emily, our hostess, and my fellow Young Women's presidency member, made sure everyone knew it was my birthday, and even had a sign out announcing it.
Jason bought me a Nintendo DS. It is pretty fun. I'm playing Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It's a game full of puzzles and logical thinking. Hannah and I are really enjoying it, but Hannah has had more time then me to play it. It is my month to teach in Young Women's and youth conference is this weekend, and Jason and I got roped into giving last minute talks in sacrament meeting on Sunday, and I do have 4 little kids to look after, so free time hasn't exactly been in abundance lately, but I am having fun with it for little bits of time here and there. My folks sent me money for my birthday and my sister Becky sent me a cute card, and my s-i-l Sara sent me a fun ecard, and my s-i-l Brooke remembered too, and sent birthday wishes my way. It was good day.
