Last night Jason rode bikes with Heather and Hannah to the school to look at their class lists. How exciting, the almost first day of school buzz was in the air. Jason decided to give them their school blessings last night, and tonight he will tune up their bikes and stuff.
Heather and I just got back from kindergarten orientation.
Her teacher seems to be exactly what Heather needs.
She was pretty quiet but she was happy.
Outside her classroom are little cougar paws, and they each have a cougar paw to stand on before the bell rings, she thought that was pretty cool.
Heather wanted me to take pictures of her packet and put them on the blog.
Her teacher gave her a little care package, that is the little paper and baggie. I thought it was super cute..
This was such a cute treat for the kids... We didn't even find it in our package until we got home.
It's a little care package poem... and the list if stuff is cute
1. Starburst... "you are a star in my class"
2. Eraser... "remember it's OK to make mistakes"
3. Sticker... "we all stick together in our room"4. Teddy Grahams... "because kindergarten is just like you- beary nice"
5. Hugs... "We all need hugs sometimes. If you need one at school I'll always have one waiting for you!"
Of course it says other things too, but how cute is that? That made Heather's day. I wonder if she will sleep tonight??
