Thanksgiving weekend we put up the Christmas tree, and the lights on the house. I haven't gotten any pictures of the lights on the house yet. Hannah helped Jason sort out all the lights for the house and tree. On the tree Jason and Hannah did the lights, and Hannah and Heather hung up my wooden bead garland, and Hannah, Heather, and Holly hung all the ornaments. I did the tree skirt. Jason did the star. Jason hates our fabric ornaments, we've had them since Hannah's first couple of Christmas's, but we both love to watch the girls get excited over decorating the tree and being able to touch the ornaments. And Christmas is so exciting for kids, I don't want to stress out about them breaking or touching ornaments. Of course they don't touch them anyway if I tell them not to... most of the time :-). I will admit, the little nativity is a huge temptation for Holly though, she always stares at it so longingly. We love Christmas in our house. Ignore the green carpet, I hate that thing. I'm hoping that next move Jason will finally let me get rid of it!!
